Restoring living heritage in the heart of Sagunto

Casa dels Berenguers is one of the most iconic buildings in Sagunto’s historic centre. This project involved a full rehabilitation aimed at preserving its architectural and cultural value, respecting the original structure while adapting the space for a new public use.

Recovering history, shaping the future

The intervention highlighted the building’s original elements — walls, arches, woodwork, and proportions — through a process that balanced technical rigour with a deep sensitivity to heritage. The new layout and conditioning now allow the building to function as an interpretation centre, open to residents and visitors alike.

A space for knowledge and memory

Thanks to this restoration, Casa dels Berenguers becomes a meeting point between past and present, where the history of Sagunto can be explored, understood and experienced in a space renewed with respect, precision and cultural purpose.
